NEUROMAC / PRIVACYClear choices.
Respect for your information.
Essential session cookies
This website uses NMSESSID, a cookie containing a random session identifier. The related server session keeps your cart, form-security token and sign-in state. The cookie does not contain your email address, order details or password. It is set as a browser-session cookie with HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and Secure when using HTTPS. Admin access expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Blocking session cookies can prevent checkout, form submission and sign-in from working. This website does not add advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tags through the newsletter feature.
Browser storage and videos
Saved-read bookmarks store article identifiers in your browser’s local storage when you choose Save. Remove bookmarks using the Save control or clear this site's browser storage. Contact and checkout drafts use tab session storage to help you recover unfinished forms; they are not a newsletter sign-up. Drafts expire when next read after 24 hours or are cleared after successful submission.
External video players load only when you choose to load them. The video provider may receive your IP address and browser information and use its own storage technologies. Opening WhatsApp, a provider video link or another external site follows that provider’s privacy terms.
Newsletter subscriptions
Subscribing is optional. We collect your email and language preference for Neuromac Insights guides and occasional service/product updates. We record the consent wording/version, request date, confirmation date and subscription status. You join only after opening the email link and choosing Confirm subscription.
Newsletter consent is separate from cart cookies, enquiries and orders. We do not automatically add customers or people who submit contact forms. Confirmation messages use our configured email service; only authorised administrators can see subscriber addresses.
Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Old unconfirmed subscription records are removed after 30 days when the website mail job or admin cleanup runs. Confirmed addresses are retained while subscribed. Unsubscribing removes the address from the subscriber record and retains a keyed address digest and minimal consent/suppression evidence to respect preferences. Historical mail delivery records and backups are managed separately; unsubscribing does not erase those copies or recall a message already being delivered.
Use the unsubscribe link provided with emails, or email support@neuromac.co.za for preference, access, correction or deletion requests. We use verified subscriber addresses for these updates; they are not published on the website.
AI questions and other business records
The Insights guide assistant uses public website information. If optional AI is configured, your question is sent to OpenAI only when you select the AI option for that question. Keep personal details and credentials out of questions. The website does not store chat transcripts; provider processing follows its configured terms.
Enquiry, order and support records serve their respective business purposes and have separate retention needs. Read our company privacy policy or contact the team with questions. This page describes the features in this release; additional services installed by the operator may have their own disclosures.
